Sonora Community Centre

Located in the heart of Osoyoos, the Sonora Community Centre features a gymnasium, weight room, dance studio, craft room, and multipurpose rooms. The facility offers numerous recreation programs for all ages throughout the year, as well as drop-in classes and open gym time. Community Action for seniors’ Independence enables seniors to remain active in their community. This volunteer service is located inside the Osoyoos Seniors Centre and is open 5 days a week.

Osoyoos & District Arts Council

The Osoyoos & Distict Arts Council is an umbrella organization with a mandate to support arts and culture in the Osoyoos area and to enrich the lives of the people in our communities.

The purpose of the Arts Council is to broaden the opportunities for residents of the Osoyoos area to enjoy and participate in cultural activities.

Groups: Groups under the Arts Council umbrella include the  Osoyoos Potters, Artists on Main, Osoyoos Photography Club, O’s Own Writers, Osoyoos Wood Carvers, the Osoyoos Quilters Guild, the South Okanagan Amateur Players (SOAP), South Okanagan Concert Series and Janet Marcotte Music Studio,  Osoyoos Music in the Park.
